Intro

On this page you will find my downloads for Minix. Currently very little, but that may change in the future.

MicroEmacs 3.9

Since I am not much of a vi user, I wanted an editor more emacs like than elle or mined. MicroEmacs looked
right, but its current version (see http://www.jasspa.com) can only be called 'micro' in relation to GNU Emacs.
Version 3.9 seemed to offer the best combination of size and functionality.

You can download the source ported to Minix 2.0.2 here: me39.tar.Z ( 240 Kb). I have only tested it with
32-bit Minix, but I suspect it will work equally good on 16-bit. Let me know if you succeeded.

If you are running Minix 2.0.3, and run into problems, email me for a port specific to 2.0.3.
